This is a non-profit site maintained on an entirely voluntary basis by residents of the village.

Notice how much of the land has been cleared of trees.  It is now thought that most of the woodland clearance took place during the neolithic period. Approximate location of today's Philip's Lane This is roughly where today's Stratford Bridge is located The neolithic period lasted about a thousand years from about 3,000 BC to the beginning of the Bronze age in about 2,000 BC.
