Broadleaf trees are essentially "non conifers", so even trees
that have fairly narrow leaves, such as Weeping Willow, are classified
as Broadleaf. The term "Semi Natural" is used to describe areas
of trees that appear to be in a more-or-less random arrangement and not
with trees in a straight line. There are no examples of Natural Woodlands
in the parish - in fact, they are rare in this country, as almost nowhere
has not been managed to some extent. |
