We are an informal, mixed group
of people who get together on the second Wednesday of the
month in the Reading Room at 7.30 p.m. for a programme of
talks and events followed by refreshments. We are non sectarian,
non party political and our aim is to be informative, entertaining
and to promote a sense of community spirit.
Recent evenings have included:- talks on Jewellery and Gems,
Salisbury Trust for the Homeless, Ladies Dressed and Undressed
(about historic costume) and a talk by a local fireman entitled
Going to Blazes. We have a Summer and a Christmas Party which
are enjoyable social occasions.
You are most welcome to come as a guest to one of our meetings.
