Scrubland
|
||
| Scrubland area with clearings, mostly cropped by rabbits. A potentially particularly rich area for wildlife, as the mixture of bushes, trees and open grassland provides food and shelter for a huge range of plants, insects and birds. Many of our favourite garden birds are "woodland edge" birds that thrive in this sort of boundary of trees, bushes and grassland. Probably the most striking and best-loved example is the Robin. | ||
