Grade 1 Listed.St Lawrence Church, Stratford sub Castle has 13th century origins and was once surrounded by a medieval village. Part of its chancel was standing when the cathedral on nearby Old Sarum was still in use.
Church History - see the webpages listed under 'Church' in the main menu. They include details of the architectural features, the bells, the unusual one-handed clock, other church-related articles and images including information about the Commonwealth War Graves in the St Lawrence churchyard.
The Friends of St Lawrence Church - fundraises to help to maintain the church building.
