Grade 1 Listed.St Lawrence Church, Stratford sub Castle has 13th century origins and was once surrounded by a medieval village. Part of its chancel was standing when the cathedral on nearby Old Sarum was still in use. ​Click 'Church' in the main menu to access the details of its architectural features, the 6 bells, the unusual one-handed clock, along with other church-related articles and images including information about the Commonwealth War Graves in the St Lawrence churchyard.

The Friends of St Lawrence Church fundraises to help to maintain the church buildings. 
It is a Registered Charity no. 1063271
