The resurfacing work has been completed, white lines redrawn at the junction with Phillips Lane, contractors vehicles and barriers have all been removed.

Road closed signs were placed along Stratford Road early on 17 February, in readiness for the planned road closure from Stratford Bridge to Snakey Hill.
According to One Network, this work is permitted to take place Daytimes 7 am - 7 pm Monday 17 February for 5 days.
Phase 2 of the works will involve re-surfacing Phillips Lane - the timing will depend on the progress made on Phase 1.
Some traffic has been able to drive through the area on an intermittent basis, but don't rely on being able to get through until the works are finished.

Phase 1 The Woodford Road (C42) from Stratford Road to Snakey Hill will be closed day-times from 17 February for five days, to enable road resurfacing to take place. A diversion via Ashley Road will be signed.
Phase 2 Phillips Lane will be closed from Castle Road A345 to the C56 Durnford Road.
