On Saturday 13 July from 10 am until 5 pm the public will be admitted free of charge to view the new galleries.
When Adrian Green, Director of Salisbury Museum, gave a talk to members of Stratford Guild in April this year, he outlined the Museum's Past Forward development Project and gave a detailed breakdown of the new layout. The new Salisbury Gallery is to be named 'The Devenish Bradshaw Salisbury Gallery', in honour of Peter Bradshaw of the Devenish family, a benefactor of the museum. Read details of the talk and images here.
