Latest Planning Applications

Planning applications for properties in Stratford sub Castle are available for public inspection on the Wiltshire Council website.

The village website carries out a regular search to identify local applications in the Salisbury St Francis & Stratford Ward. The results are downloaded and appear on the village website's Planning Applications page:

Details of a planning application for a site just outside Stratford but likely to be of interest can be found in this post: https://www.stratfordsubcastle.org.uk/newspost/planning-application-to-replace-homesense-smyths-with-a-lidl-convenience-store

Stratford sub Castle is in a Conservation Area. A formal notice is required for felling or heavy pruning of trees within conservation areas. This notice runs for six weeks from the date the council deems to be valid. Unlike a TPO application, if a conservation area tree works notification passes its deadline without a decision, then the work may proceed.

If you have something of local interest that could be added to the website, Articles, News stories or Images are always welcome. Your name can be published or not - simply let us know your preference.
