Planning Application to replace HomeSense & Smyths with a Lidl convenience store

UPDATE Letters from Lidl to householders in the area have been arriving this week, giving more information and providing a 'Have Your Say' form to complete and return to the company.


However, if you have any comments to make, those forms will not be seen by the Wiltshire Planning Department. This Wiltshire Council webpage explains how to formally comment on an application https://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/planning-comment

With the leases on units 1 & 2 at the Churchill Way West Retail Park due to expire early in 2025, an application has been submitted to take over the units currently occupied by Smyths and HomeSense and convert them iinto a Lidl Convenience Store.


Other units currently at this site are Sports Direct and Waitrose.
