Did you know that you can walk to the new boardway from Stratford sub Castle? Details here:
This afternoon, the barriers were removed near the Five Rivers bridge, allowing access to the riverside footpath, then onwards to the new boardwalk, beyond that to the Avon Valley Nature Reserve and the 'old' boardwalk and the footpath back to Stratford sub Castle.
Kier, the River Park Contractors had given notice that re-opening was imminent, in their Facebook post copied below:
