Salisbury Library currently has a wonderful display of books to help identify birds you may see in your garden. Any one of those books could be extremely helpful this weekend!
The RSPB has announced its annual 'Big Garden Birdwatch' for this weekend, 24-26 January. It is the UK's biggest citizen science wildlife survey.
To take part you will be encouraged to spend an hour watching the birds in your patch between 24 and 26 January, and record the birds that land. Then tell the RSPB what you saw. Nil sightings could also be useful. You can submit your results online or by post.
