The snowdrops and aconites are at their peak at the moment. I don't recall seeing so many aconites in the 15 years I have been visiting the churchyard. They are on either side of the path from the south gate to the porch. The aconites will soon be going over but we will have the snowdrops for a while yet.
The snowdrops have really proliferated at the rear of the churchyard.

Earlier this month Kerry O'Connor shared this image of snowdrops at The Bays on the Woodford Road with the comment:
"Galantamine, an alkaloid neurotransmitter extractable from snowdrop bulbs, is used to slow dementia."
