Black cables have been attached to the road surface in several places along Stratford Road, indicating that traffic volumes are being monitored.
Wiltshire Council does not currently include Stratford Road in its Cold Weather Gritting Programme despite the fact that it is a bus route and there is a prinary school and other community buildings in this area.
Will confirmed traffic volumes make a difference to the status of Stratford Road?
